Kinja'd!!!

The Mach III concept had an excess of 90's qualities. Soft and round, with few details or straight lines. Just mounds and bumps and humps looking slightly melted.

Kinja'd!!!

Toyota’s Celica also was pretty blobby.

Kinja'd!!!

Even Mercedes got a little floopy.

Kinja'd!!!

bloopity bloo

Kinja'd!!!

glip glop blip plip

I feel like all of this had something to do with the resurgence of popularity for lava lamps that occurred in the 90s.

Anyway, what are your favorite 90's gloobs?

This is a tough one. I would’ve said SN95 Stang, but this blob has it beat in terms of blobbiness.

FD RX-7, some will say it looks like a melted FC.

Also blob.

Unlike most of them, it does retain decent proportions though.

Too many ovals can lead to madness.

No, it was just late to the 80s.

I don’t like these much, but 90's.

It’s really just an 80s body wrapped in the automotive equivalent of a 90's leotard and headband.

Yeah, there’s something about it that still works, aesthetically. Same goes for the Viper.

I love teal cars. along the same vein I think Honda’s light green(redundently named Midori green) could only have happened in the 90's.

That round radio was so weird. still not as bad as most of what GM was pumping out at the time.

Very true, the first gen Focus had the same problem. at least the Focus’ optional Blaupunkt system was pretty good. My Mom’s 03 wagon had it.

I believe it correlates to weed increasing in strength around that time. Ford messed up their whole lineup back then.

I think the battle cry was “SAGGY OVALS FOR EVERYONE!” but can’t confirm.

Even though it was nowhere near as 90s as its american cousin, and technically a restyled 1980s car, the last RWD Ford with IRS until the current Mustang was up there.

Kinja'd!!!

However if we were talking proper 90s, my vote goes to the VW Sharan/Seat Alhambra/Ford Galaxy triplets in teal with the Projektzwo bodykit:

Kinja'd!!!

At least you could get them with a VR6, AWD and a manual.
